Book Review: New Moon by Stephenie Meyer
I would like to start off by stating that the Twilight Saga was the first book series that I ever read after Diary of a Wimpy Kid (yeah, I know, what a shocker!). I read New Moon for the first time when I was 13 years-old. I read it again when I was around 15 years-old. Now that I'm almost 19 (it took me a few months to finish this review, so your girl is 19 now!), I decided that I needed to reread it so that I could compare my thoughts on the plot, writing style, and characters. First, the plot is f*cking stupid and dumb. I do not understand the reason why Edward would leave Bella when he clearly is head over heels for her - I mean he would sneak through her bedroom window to watch her sleep, and let me add that he would put oil on the window so it wouldn't make any noise. I know, what a creep! The point is, it seems like Meyer didn't know where the story should lead to (in fact, she hadn't even planned on writing a sequel, so I guess it makes some sense). Also, I ...
